More Delightful Details of our Flamenco Styled Wedding

Last night we shared this fabulous Flamenco styled wedding with you and here are some more of the wonderful details we created to style this wedding.

The bridal bouquet was actually a last minute order as Anna had wanted a fan but when we arrived with it she changed her mind, we had to be honest expected this so had plan b up our sleeves! Sometimes this does happen if a bride sees something but in reality it does not work. We knew Anna liked stargazer lilies so created a red rose and stargazer bouquet and the bridesmaid was in ivory roses with red alstromeria. Andrew´s buttonhole was a red rose to match Anna´s bouquet.

We created personalised fans decorated with a thin black ribbon and a paper red rose detail, always useful to keep the guests cool at the ceremonies here in Spain and styled the wedding stationery in fan shapes using the black damask detail and red rose theme.

The table seating fan shaped cards were hung in the courtyard and the menu cards were created to match.

The table linens were our black and white damask style linens and worked beautifully with the white chiavari chairs.

The centrepieces were storm lanterns with white candles and red sand and we sprinkled some red rose petals in, the principle table also had a gorgeous floral display surrounding the storm lantern and we finished off the tables using red tealights and spanish ceramic tiles for the table numbers.

We thoroughly enjoyed creating this wedding and are thrilled with the results and would like to congratulate Anna and Andrew on their beautiful wedding day and for allowing us to put our creative hats on!

Our thanks again to Andreas Holm´s for sharing these photographs with us and as I always say without these wonderful suppliers we work with we could never create such fabulous weddings or show them to you :)

New Wedding Stationery Range from Reviva Weddings

We are very excited to launch our new wedding stationery range, which has been designed in particular with our weddings in mind, by our hugely talented Anoulka.

Anoulka is part of our design and decoration team and is a hugely creative and talented person, who I nearly let slip through the net!

Thank goodness I didn't, as Anoulka contacted me last year and nagged me stupid to let her do a trial day, the rest is history and Anoulka is now well and truly integrated as part of the Reviva wedding team.

We have been working on a range of stationery, over the winter, to compliment our fabulous designs and weddings, currently we have my favourite, the Bali nights, our very stylish Moroccan range, the romantic Midsummer night garden collection that we specifically created for one of our brides here, and the range will continue to be developed over the next few months.

Some other ranges we are also working on at the moment, again in particular for some of our weddings this year, are a spanish flamenco fan theme which is very pretty with fan shaped menus and our new vintage candle and lantern range.

All the themes offer Save the Dates, Invitations, Order of Service, Table Seating Plans, Placecards, Tags, Menus, Welcome Gift Bag Messages, anything you feel you need to compliment your complete stationery requirements for your wedding.

We can personalise your stationery with a beautiful range of ribbons, diamante and embellishments and please do watch this space as we introduce our new ranges into the collection.

If you would like more information please do contact us or visit Anoulka's brand new website which is still under some construction, to see more of this very exciting new stationery range available now for your wedding, which we feel is very different :)

If you have a particular design you would like made up for your wedding here please do let us know or we can match to your existing stationery if you wish to continue your theme here for your table seating plans, placecards, etc and we do offer a service to organise your guest list and send out the stationery for you.

Free Downloads

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying the holidays.

Here I am still technically on holiday but given my work is my passion I am of course busy social networking, working and expanding on our new ideas for 2011.

What I have noticed in particular, there are many free downloads for wedding stationery and just lovely things in general on the internet which really are very good, so we will be posting our finds this January which I hope will be of use to our brides and our readers for 2011 :)
I know many of my brides are extremely busy working girls so if we can find these wonderful ideas and post them hopefully it will make your lives easier!
Here is one of them I found tonight which I think are very pretty from Eat Drink Chic

A Rustic Autumn Wedding at Finca de la Concepcion, Marbella

As October arrived, again the weather was beautiful for this enchanting wedding with a combination of a beautiful autumnal rustic theme, the A team and held at one of our favourite venues La Finca de la Concepcion here in Marbella.
Lorna had already chosen her flowers with Holland Flowers but needed a wedding stylist to help her with all the extra delightful touches and details, which of course is where we came in. I think at this point is to highlight that we are wedding and event stylists of which flowers play a large part of our decoration service but we are unique in that we provide all the extra delightful details to make the day extra special and personal to our weddings and events.
This was very important for Lorna that she had all the elements put together and someone on the day to make sure that everything was put in place and generally overseen by a creative eye with attention to detail.
We created wooden rustic table numbers to blend in with the woodland theme, designed and printed the stationery and menu cards, supplied wooden personalised fans and an elegantly placed box of cigars, tied the napkins with raffia and matching place cards, decorated the children's area with colourful balloons and cute personalised party bags and provided the magical sky lanterns for the finale to the evening's events.
I did giggle at this wedding though as my creative team and I started squeaking with delight when Holland flowers bought in these fantastic rustic centrepieces, we were a bit like the mice in Bagpuss, if any of you remember this programme! They were gorgeous, and we loved them :) It was an exciting moment which I think rather alarmed the poor chap that was delivering them!
The A team were out in force, which is always lovely as we all work together so well and are like a family! This charming wedding was overseen by Heather who also provided the catering for the evening, Kathryn Parr with her stunning bridal hair and make up.
I wish I had been around to see the evening unfold as the entertainment was provided by the hugely talented trio, Tres Divos singing waiters, followed by Ian Preston, a master of toasting, hosting and fabulous DJ, the host with the mostess perhaps :)
An of course my continuous thank you to Jeremy and Jennie for more gorgeous photos!

Fabulous Cath Kidston styled wedding at Hacienda San Jose

Never in all my years as a stylist have I ever met my match with one of my brides, and I was truly astounded by Rebecca's talent and her attention to all the details that went into styling her wedding. A girl that is definitely in the wrong job for sure.
This wedding was organised and catered for by Heather at Fiestasol, beautifully photographed by Kris McGuirk and apparently, as I always leave far too early, a fabulous night of dancing followed with Rob the DJ.
Everything you see here was created by Rebecca, a graphic designer based in the UK.
I already knew this was going to be a stunning wedding, as Rebecca has been working hard on producing a portfolio of stationery for our shop here in Spain last winter, and I had been enlightened to most of what she was planning, but she still left my jaw dropping when I saw the amount of work she had put into her own fabulous day.
Nothing was left to chance, even the baby's nappy pants were styled with the baby's name and she was dressed in a mini Cath Kidston, but we do not have photos of this which is a shame, hoping we will get some though as it was so cute!
We filled in the gaps with Rebecca's flowers and dressed the tables for her, but her attention to the details was truly amazing from the table names with photos on, to the personalised sweet jars for every guests.
The fabulous candy and icecream bar for when hot guests arrived back from the church, the mirrored disco ball, the personalised wooden initials, the fairy lights her electrician father installed the day before, the list was endless.
Needless to say if Rebecca ever decides to up roots and move to Spain, we have already offered her a job. Rebecca is also promoting her stationery through our shop here in Spain so if you would like the same attention to details and stationery created here please do contact us for more information.
Our congratulations to Rebecca and Rob and hoping Rebecca is now having a well earned rest on her honeymoon!

Mike and Grace's wedding Robertos, Puente Romano

As the wedding of Mike and Grace got nearer so did the rain, eventually it was decided not to risk having their wedding on the beach at the Suite Del Mar, so instead it was held indoors at the wonderful restaurant Robertos at Puente Romano. The rains came with a vengence this weekend but fortunately a good time was had by all.
We had two key ideas from the bride and groom for this wedding, one was that they wished to use local flowers and the other was they wanted a south African theme as Mike is a South African Rugby player.
We created the idea of the table names being names of Safari animals and designed them with a turquoise zebra print graphic. This co-ordinated with the tall turquoise centrepieces we created. We then created bouganvilla arrangements to place around the restaurant to bring in the local foliage theme, the result was simple and effective.

Red & White Themed wedding at Los Monteros

Eddy and Janique's wedding was a truly individual affair held at Los Monteros. The whole wedding was based on a red and white theme and all the guests were beautifully turned out in matching red and white outfits. Lorna at Deseos created some lovely urns filled with red and white roses and Reviva Weddings supplied the lanterns, stationery and chair sashes to
co-ordinate. Luckily the rain held off for this wedding!

Alice in Wonderland themes

At the moment I am putting together ideas using the Alice in Wonderland theme, not sure why really perhaps it is the heat here in Spain! I think there are so many vintage themes around now with the teapots and china that it would be rather fun to elaborate on this. I love the idea of the open me stationery, the eat me cakes and the drink me cocktails, this would be such a great theme to do and the list is endless. A pastel theme for a wedding above

and then a very different black red and white Alice in Wonderland theme below

Here is a board I found on Style me Pretty pulling in all the elements, the croquet on the lawn, the bridemaids perhaps in Alice dresses with alice hairbands, the roses and of course the playing cards.

It would also be a great theme for a kids party with bright colours, topsy turvey cakes, teapot cookies and lots of tissue paper flowers :)

I have to do this for twinkle when she is slightly bigger!
