Keeping your options open

I am loving everything about the Macbeth Collection...from the votives to the tubs, to the vases and tool caddy. The best part is that they can be customized with the pattern or style you choose as well as with print or a monogram. Love that! Endless options!

These would be so fun to display drinks in or other goodies at a wedding or backyard party. They also would work great for centerpieces. Wouldn't you just love to fill these as welcome tubs too? I am just dying to find somewhere to use them. Any other ideas?

I do, to Ban.do

The much blogged about and ridiculously adorable online shop ban.do now has whole new crop of headpieces. So, if even for a moment you are stumped for wedding inspiration, or you’re not sure what look you’re going for, just hop into this shop full of feathers and glitter and let your imagination run wild.

Not only are the headpieces and headbands full of fun unique vintages bits, they also come with a Haiku. Maybe you can work it into your vows? Just a thought... The combo of bright colors and different textures are also fantastic for stealing some color palate ideas from. And sporting one with your wedding dress assures that the focus stays where it should…on you.

Fabulous headpieces are an easy find right now, Etsy has a good selection too, so be sure to browse around. Personally I think they are the perfect way to vamp up a traditional veil, or to take the place of one instead! Some other headpiece shops worth peeking at: Twigs and Honey, House of Telsa, and Portobello.

And if you are craftily inclined, piecing together a headpiece out of fabric and jewelry with some sentimental value, such as your grandmother's earrings and your mother's veil, would be a great way to make statement, while keeping things in the family.

So think pretty and have some fun with your head.

Ta Da....

Rebeka and Ami from Elizabeth Anne Designs just sent over this exciting new announcement and I just had to share!

"We are incredibly excited to announce our new project, The EAD Library. After months of development and research, we are launching a new resource for brides tomorrow, Tuesday July 22nd. The Library is filled with hundreds of useful links, from photographers to shops to stationers. Our goal is a simple, comprehensive list of vendors. The Library will help every bride, no matter her location, find the vendors and inspiration she needs for a beautiful event. "

The library is officially open...take the time to peruse for an hour or two! What a great resource that is now available at the fingertips of every bride! Keep the inspiration coming ladies. We love it!
