Stylish Lilac and Olive Wedding at Finca de la Concepcion, Marbella

This fabulous and stylish wedding took place in June at the Finca de la Concepcion, a beautiful venue close to the middle of Marbella, just 5 minutes drive away from Marbella town centre and you are transported into another world.

We had a last minute panic though Claire, emailed me about 2 weeks before the wedding to say the bridesmaids dresses had arrived and were not the colour she was expecting.  The colour scheme had been pale pink and greens, but quickly we changed it to a beautiful lilac and olive to compliment the girls dresses!

The result was beautiful, a more unusual colour scheme with a lovely stylish vintage element to the wedding.  We used white peonies and panacium fountain spray for Claire's bouquet and a fabulous mixture of lilac stocks for the bridesmaids and the table centrepieces.

The tables were simply decorated with square table centrepieces wrapped in an ivory lace.  We used some of the local foliage to create cute cocktail decorations, such as the lovely plumbago that grows everywhere here in Spain and it complimented the wedding perfectly.

Our Bali umbrellas, our vintage frame for the table seating plan set on an easel and our lanterns set off the venue beautifully with simple touches that Claire was thrilled with.

We were thrilled to receive such a wonderful email from Claire afterwards and of course were delighted yet again to work with such a professional team, Heather from Fiestasol as the wedding planner and caterer for this event, Mark from Cake Marbella for providing yet again to die for cupcakes and of course Jeremy and Jennie from Jeremy Standley for allowing us to publish such fabulous photos :)
