DAYLESFORD DREAMING

We covered a stylish event here in Daylesford, VIC yesterday for clients Julia & Dane. Look forward to sharing some of their images with you soon. The couple chose the Convent Gallery for their ceremony & reception and the rustic character of Villa Parma & Wombat Hill for their photos.

Of course adding some free time to the trip we explored the local region as well. Here is a little peek at some of our favourite things found in the Dayleford/Hepburn Spa region & nearby town of Kyneton.

Our film producer, Deb took us to visit the must see "Piper Street" in Kyneton where we found lots of treasures. The best fig & coconut cake imaginable was found at the Little Swallow Cafe. Owned by husband & wife team, Sarah & Steven Rogers (formerly a chef at Jacques Raymond, Prahran/VIC) the restaurant adds to the already successful foodie heaven.

The smell of firewood, classic country stone walls, dirt roads and the very cool uber arts hub otherwise known as the Stockroom are all well worth a visit. Crisp country air and just over an hour from the heart of Melbourne make this area a must see for your next trip x
