EDITOR | POST PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are a close knot family of creatives at SugarLove & White so additions & departures to our team are few & far between. This winter we are ready to announce that we have a newly created role to fill within our cinematography division at White Designs. The role will require the combined skills of Editing & Post Production workflow - with advanced knowledge of Mac Operating programs such as FCP (Sound Track Pro/DVD Studio Pro/Compressor), Adobe Photoshop, MPEG Streamclip. The suitable candidate will work in-house at our gorgeous showroom in Woollahra, Sydney (below).

Post Production workflow will include communications between clients, crew, account manager & company director. Tasks include overseeing crew selection (camera operators & editors), co-ordination of technical equipment such as Sony Z1, DSLR & relevant sound equipment, assembly of client run sheets, post production notes & crew edit briefs. Standard administration duties via email/phone, MS Word & Excel are required. The role is suited to an autonomous self-starter who likes the freedom to work independently & as part of a small team within a premium brand environment. Working with production deadlines, confidently trouble shooting technical issues & possessing a highly creative vision for editing weddings is paramount. Preference will be given to crew who are currently working in the Film/TV, Commercial, Corporate or Wedding industries with a minimum of 2 years editing experience. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills working with a well established company on elegant wedding docos with future options for commercial / film production work within our SugarLove Films division for the right candidate.
